The course covers key aspects of computer modeling and simulation with the emphasis on statistical resampling and Monte Carlo techniques. Students will complete a number of modeling projects utilizing programming languages commonly used in the nuclear industry. As such the course includes gaining a basic proficiency in the appropriate programming language, including the development of good programming practices.
